Prepping for Baby

After we got Carsen moved to his new room, we got to work getting the crib ready for the baby. Carsen was a little upset he couldn't get in the crib once the mattress was raised.

We're hoping Carsen reacts to the baby the way he's taken to my cousin Chelsey's little girl, Lainie. She was born in December so is at a fun age right now. Carsen absolutely loves her.

Carsen has been in his new room for almost 2 months and doing great! We were a little worried about sleeping in a big boy bed but turns out we worried for nothing. He loves his new bed and his new room.

Easter 2011

I know Easter was 3 months ago but I didn't realize I hadn't posted any pictures. Carsen had a great time hunting eggs and only complained b/c he had to wait before picking up eggs. They were pretty tempting scattered on the ground.

Tulsa Zoo

In May we took a trip to the Tulsa Zoo for the first time. Of course, it had to be about the hottest day we'd had so far this year, but we had a good time anyway. Carsen really loved all the animals.

Making Cookies

I took these awhile ago and is one of the few times Carsen has wanted to do more than just dump ingredients in the bowl.

Okay so they're not homeade, but he had fun pulling the dough apart!

Airplane Ride

Carsen had his first airplane ride when he was 3 months old and he slept through the whole thing. We recently flew home for the weekend and Carsen did great. He didn't want to wear the headset for the majority of the flight even when we explained we couldn't hear him w/o them.

Wrestling

Carsen has taken an interest in wrestling. He, Dad and Eddie have quite the time rolling around on the floor.

San Antonio Babymoon

When I was pregnant w/ Carsen, Eric and I took a "babymoon" to Boston. We only thought it fair we take one during this pregnancy too. We spent a long weekend in San Antonio where the temperatures reached 100 everyday. We stayed on the Riverwalk, ate good food, saw some beautiful sites, and just relaxed.
