Carsen's 3!!!

In February we celebrated Carsen's 3rd birthday. It's hard to believe he's already 3! He talks non-stop, asks a million questions, very inquisitive, loves dinosaurs, trains, and cars. He likes to be outdoors and is slowly becoming more interested in his bike/trike. He is a great big brother to Ainsley and can be very helpful to his mom.

Ainsley's Baptism

I know it's been months since my last post and lots have happened since then. I'll try and sum it up quickly. Eric accepted a different position w/in Cessna w/ the Employee's Flying Club in Wichita. We put our house on the market last month, he moved in w/ a friend and I became a single mom during the week. We've had a lot of action on our house and are hoping to get a call from our realtor tomorrow w/ an offer. Everyone pray for us! The last few weeks have been tough and we're all ready to be a family under the same roof again.

Back to playing catch-up. Ainsley was baptized in January here in Independence. Drew Heiman is our priest so that made the event even more special. She did really well and only cried for a minute when the water was poured over her head.

New Addition

It's been 5 months since I've posted but I believe I have a good reason for neglecting the blog. As most of you know we welcomed a baby girl on Sept. 1st. Ainsley Suzanne was born at 10:30 AM and weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. We were very surprised she was so big! A whole pound bigger than her big brother! After an adjustment period, we are now settled into our new role of a family of 4 and loving every minute of it. She is growing so fast and really getting active now.

Prepping for Baby

After we got Carsen moved to his new room, we got to work getting the crib ready for the baby. Carsen was a little upset he couldn't get in the crib once the mattress was raised.

We're hoping Carsen reacts to the baby the way he's taken to my cousin Chelsey's little girl, Lainie. She was born in December so is at a fun age right now. Carsen absolutely loves her.

Carsen's new room

Carsen has been in his new room for almost 2 months and doing great! We were a little worried about sleeping in a big boy bed but turns out we worried for nothing. He loves his new bed and his new room.
