Eric and I will be moving to a new house here in Independence. We love our current house and the neighborhood is great, but after having Carsen we discovered we need more space (who knew kids acquired so much stuff?!). In 2005 when we were looking for our first house to buy, we looked at the house you're seeing in the pictures. The price was a little out of our league so we offered a lower amount which they rejected. Now 5 years later we find the house still on the market and the price dropped to our price range so we made another offer and it was accepted. We close July 15th and have 10 days to whip the place into shape. We'll be painting EVERY room, stripping wallpaper and border, tearing out carpet in the bathrooms and replacing tubs, shower stalls, and toilets. Inside pictures will be posted soon.
I don't have a picture of the front of the house so the 2 above are of the back and front porch. It has a wraparound deck w/ 5 sliding glass doors and a walk out basement. We are so excited to start working on it. Other people don't see our vision. We will be having a big housewarming party once we get everything set up.
